Takes ages to back up via USB. I'm not accusing you of anything but I think that registry you gave me kinda slowed it down. Windows Cannot Run Disk Checking On This Volume Because It Is Write Protected so i run CHKDSK on the HDD using a USB SATA cable, it started fine but after reaching 10% it is frozen since over 12 hours now. If chkdsk would not complete it would report the error every boot-up.
Kay. Don't do it every day. Windows has finished checking your disk. Chkdsk Cannot Lock Current Drive That person’s name would be Check Disk.
