When I connect to the network via VPN, I cannot RDP into this particular server, even though RDP has been enabled; but I don't have the same issue while on the I have 5 office computers all running Windows XP Pro SP3. You mentioned that there is no problem to ping internal DNS name and IP address when VPN connected ,beside the network connectivity and name resolution, another thought is the bowser. generally if a vpn client successfully connects, that means that handshake portion is over, a secure connection has been established (port 51) ...
